It is our aim to understand your business before working on an assignment. Global Consulting Services (GCS) works to understand the operational technical environment, the business issues that need to be addressed, and most importantly, the people involved in the project. We use all of this information in ensuring a proven quality resource. All staff and contractors are thoroughly referenced and only the highest quality candidates are represented through GCS.

It is our belief that the relationship does not stop with provision of the contractor. On this basis, GCS provides ongoing contractor support services, with our consulting staff and Contractor Care Programme.

Our "Open Book" Policy

GCS adopts an "Open Book" approach to our business. Our commercial relationships are open. All parties have a total understanding of the charge out rate to clients and the margin we retain. This margin varies depending on contracting, consulting or outsourcing assignments and the commercial risk attached to each project.

We only retain a fixed daily margin (marketing and administrative fee) to a maximum of 5 days of work per week performed by the contractor. This enables the contractor to enjoy the financial benefits of any additional hours they would work either in a day, from weekend activities or when on call.

This "Open Book" approach, coupled with the means by which we earn our gross margin, is unique in the industry. This has proven to be a fundamental ingredient in the success of GCS and its contracting team.
