Our client, one of Australia’s largest financial organizations, is seeking an experienced Communications Team Lead to join their infrastructure and communications team.
The successful candidate will be expected to possess leadership capabilities and experience leading a team of 5 people.
In order to be successful for this challenging position you will possess the following skills:
7-10+ years experience in the technology industry, with extensive experience in communications technologies
Day-to-Day management of teams, including task allocation, performance management and career development,
Strong understanding of the ITIL methodology especially as it pertains to Lifecycle Management
A strong operational networking background across a number of platforms and technologies including; ethernet, routing, TCP, firewall technologies (PIX, Checkpoint) and WAN acceleration
Experience in Incident Management, and Change & Release Management
Overall experience being the ‘go-to’ person in a crisis
In this close knit team your strong interpersonal and communication skills will be highly regarded as will be your ability to mentor and lead by example. You will also demonstrate a natural leadership flare and the ability to work as part of a high performing team.
